- Young Explorer All ages welcome
Welcome to Explorers Academy!
Looking for something to keep your kids busy and learning at the same time while they are home from school? Rising Tide Explorers has your back with EXPLORER’S ACADEMY: SWFL Biology for kids.
As we navigate our current situation, RTE has decided to continue our mission of connecting people to the outdoors and help to develop a relationship with our unique natural world we have here in Southwest Florida. Sign your youngster up with Explorer’s Academy for weeks of fun while learning about SWFL’s natural environment!
By registering, your child will be eligible to participate in all the fun and FREE activities we have planned for our young explorers. Each week will host a new theme where kids will be able to learn about different kinds of local wildlife and the habitats of Southwest Florida. With each activity completed, our explorers will earn points that can earn them our weekly Theme badges so they can brag to their friends about how much they learned about our featured creatures. Upon completion of 5 theme badges, they will earn their RTE Jr. Biologist Badge!
DURATION: 5 – 10 weeks
Weekly activities will include:
- Backyard Scavenger Hunt Bingo (30pts)
