Cancellation, Rescheduling & Weather Policy

We understand plans change. This policy explains how cancellations, reschedules, and weather-related changes work for Rising Tide Explorers trips.

Cancellation Policy

• Standard bookings: Full refund if cancelled at least 72 hours prior to your tour departure. No refunds if cancelled within 72 hours of the scheduled launch time.
• Explorer’s Club Members: Full refund if cancelled up to 48 hours prior to the scheduled launch time.

• Adventure Flex Protection: Allows cancellation up until 24 hours prior to the scheduled launch time. A full refund will be issued, excluding the Adventure Flex Protection fee.

To cancel, email info@risingtidefl.com or call (239)262-6149 as early as possible. Refunds are processed to the original payment method within 5–10 business days.

Arrival Times

All tours depart promptly at the specified time due to our schedule. It is imperative that guests arrive prior to the scheduled launch time:

• Boat tours: arrive 15 minutes early
• Kayak tours: arrive 30 minutes early

Leave plenty of time to reach the launch location indicated in your confirmation and reminder communications, and to locate our group on site. Account for traffic during busy months. Missing a tour due to a late arrival will not result in a refund.

Reschedule Policy

• Standard bookings: Rescheduling within 72 hours prior to your tour departure will incur a 50% rebooking fee.
• Explorer’s Club Members: Rescheduling within 48 hours of the scheduled launch time will incur a 50% rebooking fee.
• Adventure Flex Protection: Allows rescheduling up until 24 hours prior to the scheduled launch time.
• Rescheduling is allowed up until 24-hours prior to the scheduled launch time.  A refund or credit should not be expected within 24-hours of launch time.

Note: Missing a tour due to late arrival is not eligible for rescheduling credit.

Weather Policy

Weather cancellations due to high winds or stormy conditions are the sole decision of Rising Tide Explorers. This decision may be made up until the time of departure, as conditions change constantly in Southwest Florida. We will make every effort to keep guests informed.

Tours run rain or shine. We do not cancel for cold weather — please dress appropriately and come prepared.

If Rising Tide cancels a tour for weather or safety, you will be offered:

• A full refund, or
• A free reschedule to another available date

Please provide a mobile number at booking so we can reach you quickly if a weather cancellation is necessary.

Group Bookings and Private Charters

Different terms may apply to private charters and group bookings of eight or more. Please contact info@risingtidefl.com for the applicable policy.
